Geri Lambert was born and raised in Honolulu. After graduating from Punahou School and the University of Colorado, Boulder, Geri returned to Hawaii to teach English at Punahou. She married and raised three daughters with her husband in Manoa Valley, her life-long neighborhood.

A Kama'aina, Geri has been a first-hand witness to the rapid growth and change in Honolulu. Her concern for community has been evident in her active participation as a volunteer in a variety of organizations, including the Junior League of Honolulu, Honolulu Symphony Society, Fernhurst Residence (YWCA), and Kuakini Medical Center Auxiliary.
