Ann brings 30 years of professional business experience to Mary Worrall Associates Sotheby’s International Realty and has called Hawaii her home for 20 years. Her honesty, integrity, and aggressive negotiating skills instill trust so that her clients are confident in Ann’s ability to listen and understand their needs. Ann’s knowledge of the unique Oahu real estate market and her technical internet marketing experience allow her to find or sell their home. Ann’s areas of expertise are Waikiki condos, Gold Coast condos, Diamond Head homes and beachfront properties. Ann grew up on a farm in Iowa and earned a BA in English and Secondary Teaching Credential from the University of Iowa. After graduation, she moved to San Francisco, pursued a career in the garment industry, opened an independent showroom as a member of the San Francisco Children’s Wear Association in 1981 and traveled the Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles, and New York City. She retired from the garment business in 1991 and moved to a coffee farm in Hawaii where she developed and owned Island Café 100% Kona Coffee and Gourmet Foods brand in Captain Cook which featured over 200 products. As one of the first women to own a Kona coffee brand, she was offered a seat on the board of the Kona Coffee Counsel for 4 years. In 2000, Ann moved to Oahu so her son could attend Assets School for Dyslexic & Gifted in Honolulu. He now attends Art Academy University in San Francisco. In 2002, Ann worked as a sales consultant for Hawaii Information Service, a company that supports online MLS access for Realtors, buyers and sellers, and the first company in Hawaii to offer websites and online advertising services for real estate agents. Building great relationships with real estate agents helped springboard her own real estate career when she got her Realtor’s license in 2005. Ann loves living in Hawaii and selling real estate. She believes it is the best place in the world to raise a family. Other passions are fiction writing, gourmet foods, art, film, sailing and traveling the world.
